Summary

Michael O'Sullivan is a Hampton real estate investor who built a career buying and selling foreclosure properties. Starting with only $7,500 about 15 years ago, he purchased the deed to his first property and went on to found Hampton Dream Properties LLC in Remsenburg during the housing downturn of 2008–2009. To prepare, he attended three seminars with a Harvard attorney and eventually acquired 25 deeds to foreclosed homes in East Hampton and Southampton, New York.

Since then, Michael has completed over 200 transactions, including more than 30 settled foreclosures in East Hampton. Several clients became millionaires through deals he arranged. One notable case involved a foreclosure settlement that allowed a client to resell a property for a $500,000 profit and later secure a $700,000 line of credit to generate rental income. He has also helped families avoid foreclosure by negotiating directly with banks.

Michael works closely with experienced attorneys, including one who authored the Foreclosure Abuse Prevention Act of 2022, to protect homeowners from unfair lending practices. He is also developing land in Mastic, New York, where national chains are planning new locations.

Outside real estate, he produced a jazz album titled "Liquid Jazz," volunteered at ground zero after September 11, and supports the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. A native New Yorker, he attended Nassau Community College and briefly studied at New York University.
