Keyword Education / Shenzhen, Guangdong, China
I was the head English as a Foreign Language at Keyword Education for one year. Responsibilities here included creating curriculum and lesson plans for students, management and distribution of students to other foreign teachers, I relayed the ideas from foreign teachers to the local teachers to create a bigger sense of familiarity and togetherness between employees, offered outside tutorials to students who needed them and would often help in designing and creating themed holiday parties for students.
English Tutor/Volunteer
La Cupula Hostel & Camping / Tarija, Bolivia
While volunteering at this hostel and cultural center in Tarija, Bolivia I would spend much time with the children of the owners teaching them English words, phrases, and grammar. In addition, I would take care of the hostel (cleaning up, making breakfast for guests, and assisting in creating a new reservation system for the owner).
