Recruited directly by the CEO, a former eviCore exec, to “build a team and a culture.” Achieved both joining as employee #10 and built the team to 50 employees representing the best talent in technology, healthcare, and finance within 15 months. Engagement surveys twice showed employee engagement at 96% and desire to be there in 2 years was at 96%. Oversaw all HR functions and flexed in the role both strategically and operationally.

Built Cigna’s new HR PMO. Oversaw portfolio management, hiring and development of the team, and established best practices. Grew and coached team of HR PMs to support all HR COEs according to our strategic initiatives. Personal project ownership included enterprise initiatives such as Market Range Visibility, Pay Equity, Learning Optimization, and Governance.

Created and led Cigna's new Talent Management PMO. The TM PMO supported the design, development, launch, and maintenance of programs, projects, and processes within the 5 TM areas: Talent Planning & Solutions, Strategy & Operations, Org Development, Learning, and Leader Development. The new PMO saved several hundred thousand dollars in its first 90 days by reducing external vendor need, while simultaneously increasing leader satisfaction on output.

Serve on the Cigna Benefits Integration team working to strategize a plan for merging Cigna, Express Scripts and eviCore. Served on the Compensation Integration Team for Cigna, Express Scripts and eviCore to evaluate, broad-based structures, base pay, and all bonus programs. The largest endeavor was the planning, analysis, and execution of Career Architecture to unify all three organizations. Project Lead for unifying the process to hire, promote, and develop executive talent in partnership with Executive Recruiting, Executive Compensation, the Competencies &Assessments Team, and Leadership Development.

Led the TR function for a $1B+ revenue, multi-site organization overseeing $300M+ in base comp, $14M in short term incentives, $5M in pay for performance STI and $30M+ in benefits for 5000+ employees (68% of them remote).Created an empowered promotion process to enhance coaching, establish transparency and employee ownership in career development. Developed career path models for 13 departments. Developed concept of “remote community” to build engagement and reduce turnover.HR strategic partner to EVP Corporate Operations. In 2018integrated two health insurance and pharmacy vendor relationships into one cohesive program, totaling $1.8M in savings. eviCore Cares Wellness Program was recognized by the Nashville Business Journal in October 2018 as one of "Nashville's Healthiest Employers."

This position gave the opportunity to build a cohesive TR program from inception for a 1500 person organization. Year 1 - Brought on a broker, established a Wellness Program & Investment Committee, ran the first electronic Open Enrollment, brought on a vision plan, created a Benefits Guide and communication strategy. Year 2 - Built a broad-based compensation structure and STI program, introduced Disability Insurance and oversaw three HR integrations for acquired companies. Ultimately used influence and showed ROI on why programs should be invested in to attract stronger talent and position us to scale.
