Summary
Megan Larche Dominick, CSA, is the Associate Artistic Director / Director of New Works for Theatre Under the Stars. She oversees all main stage productions, line producing and casting for TUTS’ full season at the Hobby Center, as well as the Tommy Tune Awards and Public Works Houston. Megan moved to Houston after completing The Muny Theater’s centennial year, where she served as Associate Producer/ Casting Director (four-time Artios Award nominee for Outstanding Achievement in Casting). She cast more than 45 Muny productions and produced over 25. Additionally she produced Muny Magic at the Sheldon, an intimate Broadway concert series and was founder/program director of The Muny/Webster Intensive which offers pre-professional training to exceptional high school musical theatre students. In 2016, Megan executive produced First Date, directed by Dan Knechtges, for the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. She cast for an extensive catalogue of Broadway shows, including the revivals of A Chorus Line and Grease, and served as the children’s casting director for the Broadway and all touring companies of Disney’s The Lion King. Film credits include “True Grit,” “It’s Complicated,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” and “Hairspray.” Favorite associate producing credits include Bring It On: The Musical (2013 Tony Nominee Best Musical), Grace starring Paul Rudd & Michael Shannon (Broadway), TRACES (New York & National Tour) and Legally Blonde the Musical (Broadway & National Tour). While serving as Artistic Director of the Incumbo Theatre Company she produced The Two Lives of Napoleon Beasley and Pvt. Wars. Her casting work is featured in the documentary “Every Little Step.” She is a former board member of the Casting Society of America & faculty of Webster University, proudly serves on the NAMT New Works Committee and has lectured extensively at colleges, universities, and various arts institutions.
