Responsible for creating and executing best practices in marketing and agency strategies to showcase the JARC brand with the objectives of attracting and retaining corporate donors, increasing awareness of JARC’s mission and attracting top employee talent. Functions included, but not limited to, communications, business development, event management, talent management, corporate culture, community outreach, philanthropic activities, as well as serving as in-house expert and consultant on agency strategies.
Director of Marketing:
• Designed, developed and deployed agency and partner related marketing, events, media campaigns, and philanthropic activities.
• Managed 6-8 exclusive events annually. Responsibilities included celebrity appearance contracts, venue selection, theme development, promotion, registration, onsite activation and budget oversight.
• Established and maintained relationships with all third-party ad agencies, production companies, media sales representatives and freelance contractors.
• Procured a leading video production company and created a partnership with them to produce relatable lifestyle videos. These videos were utilized at JARC’s annual galas, in social media and on JARC’s YouTube channel, increasing ticket sales, as well as increasing post-event donations by 20%, resulting in an additional $300,000 in revenue.

Partnered closely with Eastern Michigan Executive Management and Fifth Third Bank Cincinnati Headquarters to achieve corporate and divisional revenue, profitability and market share objectives.

Created and managed the brand rollout plan in Southeast Michigan when Fifth Third Bank acquired Grand Rapids based Old Kent Bank.

Cultivated a significant brand presence in Southeast Michigan which resulted in growing bank market share by 154%, expanding asset growth by 43% and opening over 60 new banking centers in a 5-year period.

Developed imaginative marketing initiatives and activated experiential marketing opportunities that supported local initiatives, as well as national campaigns, including Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), Feeding Our Communities hunger initiative, Veterans Programming and Next Job employment services.
