Her career in healthcare spans a wide range of roles. She has managed hospice programs, operated an Alzheimer’s group home, led a hormone replacement clinic, and run a family medicine practice. She also established a mobile medical service to expand access to care for patients who may be homebound or face barriers to travel. These experiences have helped shape her well-rounded approach to leadership and healthcare delivery.

She has worked closely with patients across all age groups, providing a full range of services that include preventive care, acute treatment, and management of chronic diseases. Her expertise encompasses wound care, including the treatment of complex conditions such as diabetic ulcers, pressure injuries, and surgical wounds. Her ability to handle both immediate health concerns and long-term care needs allows her to offer comprehensive support to her patients.

Before founding Trinity House Calls, she worked with the Department of Defense for four years in a position that required top-secret security clearance. The discipline and confidentiality demanded by that role continue to inform her approach to managing clinical responsibilities and her team.

At Trinity Family Practice, she leads a healthcare team that offers a comprehensive range of services, including routine wellness exams, immunizations, laboratory testing, and acute care for illnesses and injuries. The practice also provides telehealth and mobile services to reach patients who need care in the comfort of their own homes or workplaces. These options allow for flexibility while maintaining the same level of attention and clinical support.

The practice includes services such as medication management, physical exams, STD and UTI testing, and coordination of care with specialists. Her team focuses on maintaining communication with patients and ensuring that their health needs are addressed at every step of the process.

A significant part of her work involves care for older adults. Drawing from her experience managing memory care services, she provides support for patients with conditions like dementia and Alzheimer’s. Her practice offers fall risk evaluations, cognitive assessments, chronic condition monitoring, and nutritional guidance to support quality of life and safety in the aging process.

She also leads transitional care efforts for patients discharged from hospitals or care facilities. Her team prepares discharge plans, reviews medications for accuracy and understanding, and educates patients and caregivers on how to manage their recovery. These services help reduce the risk of complications and ensure that patients stay on track during their recovery.

She earned her Registered Nurse license in 1999 and her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018. These qualifications, supported by her practical work in clinical and administrative roles, have shaped her into a steady and informed healthcare provider.

Outside her professional life, she values wellness and personal health. In 2023, she participated in the Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon in Las Vegas, and 2013, she completed the Iron Girl triathlon. These personal accomplishments reflect her ongoing commitment to balance, fitness, and living the values she promotes in her practice.

Mary Huntly was born and raised in Kilmaley, a farming village in County Clare, Ireland. Her upbringing on a family farm taught her the importance of discipline, hard work, and follow-through. These early lessons continue to guide her in her role today.
