Mariah Young
Admissions Counselor
Summary
After graduating with a degree in Exercise Science, a serendipitous event inspired me to get into admissions recruiting and event planning, and I love it! It's an amazing feeling helping students discover where to spend their undergraduate years. It's an exciting process that I feel lucky to be involved with.
I always strive to bring 100% to the work that I do, and it's my goal as a recruiter to facilitate lasting, mutually beneficial relationships between prospective students and Wagner College. Currently, I am responsible for recruiting students from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida to Wagner College. I also run Wagner Experience Days, a series of day-long events for prospective students and their parents to experience life as a Seahawk.
I thrive in forward thinking, innovative organizations, and am passionate about providing the best recruiting experience for prospective students. I am finishing my MBA in Marketing in June, and am looking to continue to grow and make my mark in the recruitment industry! Outside of the office, you'll find me in spin class, reading a quirky novel, and traveling whenever I can (recent trips include Peru, Argentina, and Ireland).
