● Foster high reliability and operational excellence philosophy by ensuring all clinical programs comply with all organizational, local, state safety regulations

● Manage drug shortages and maintains hospital formulary system for safe, efficacious and cost -effective therapies

● Recommend process improvements to support a safe and efficient work environment

● Implemented and coordinated Antimicrobial Stewardship Program activities to comply with regulatory requirements and improve safe use of antimicrobials including cost saving of ~$400,000 in year one

● Developed standardized infusion guidelines for adults and pediatric population

● Participated in the development of Adult and Pediatric sepsis order sets and sedation policies through researching best practices and current guidelines

● Conducts daily interdisciplinary rounds in a 40 bed Adult Intensive care unit, providing age-appropriate pharmaceutical therapies and pharmacokinetic dosing recommendations

● Provided education for staff pharmacists, nurses, medical residents and physicians while serving as a preceptor to 4th year & final year Pharmacy students

● Verified and dispensed prescription medication orders. Provided drug information services to nurses and physicians. Monitored patients with renal impairment and provide dosage adjustments.
