Summary

I am currently employed as the Director of Event Sales and Event Manager for Vista at Arrowhead located in Country Club of the Rockies. My main job responsibility is to sell Vista as a venue for events and I see each event through from the first tour to the completion of each event. I also run each event on the day of the event, from set up to overseeing staff to the final billing at the end of the event. Events I oversee include (but are not limited to) all country club golf food and beverage for tournaments, weddings, rehearsal dinners, and anniversary parties and corporate parties like the Slifer, Smith and Frampton (a large local real estate company) holiday party with 250 guests.

This job has required strong social media skills, website editing and proficiency in many different computer programs including Microsoft office, Word Press, Open Table and Club Essentials. As Event Manager, I have developed strong communication and managerial skills, managing up to 25 employees at a time. I have also gained great knowledge and skill in working with other departments. Vista is closely connected with the Country Club of the Rockies so I am used to communicating with different departments and bridging gaps within all the departments and vendors we work with.

Oversees all special events from the initial tour and sale of the event to the close of each event. Events including but not limited to: weddings, rehearsal dinners, holiday occasions, and country club functions including golf tournaments and luncheons. Responsible for managing and directing 25 employees including managers, FOH and BOH staff. Handles all marketing aspects of the venue including website content, advertising, social media, and member emails. Designs menus for events and the restaurant and manages both lunch and dinner service. Assists owner, chef and general manager with their work duties, menu planning and all orders all restaurant and office items.
