In the last six years, in conjunction with and as a complement to my roles at BackTrack, I have taken on a diverse array of writing and marketing projects both on a paid and pro-bono basis. These projects represent my passion for languages and writing and editing across industries and platforms, as well as my ongoing commitment to supporting and assisting women-owned start-ups and small businesses.

• Strategize business approaches with clients (corporate, academic, and media) to initiate or refresh public-facing platforms.
• Specialized experience working with women-owned small businesses assisting these business owners in writing and editing necessary content for websites and marketing/promotional materials.
• Editing of curricula vitae and other employment materials for private clients, including editing of documents written by non-native English speakers to bring these to native British or American English standards while maintaining accurate

• Conceptualized, developed, tested and marketed streamlined due diligence product specifically for domestic employees using the strategies employed for reports on high-net-worth individuals; structure of product now used as basis for similar report produced by BackTrack for use across industries.
• Trained writers/investigators in particular research methodologies for NannyTrack reports, coordinated research and writing of all NannyTrack cases across departments.
• Managed hiring of contractors and design of NannyTrack website and blog; created content and wrote and edited blog entries.

• BackTrack Reports is a New York City-based white-collar private investigation firm specializing in due diligence background reports on high-net-worth individuals.
• Co-lead a team of investigators conducting specialized research, analysis, and writing of due diligence reports (pre-employment and pre-investment) to produce high-quality and content- sensitive written reports on deadline.
• Spearheaded customization of reports for wide-ranging client base (investment banks, private investors, corporations, foundations, and funds-of-funds) to provide a la carte services; slashed report delivery times from average of five weeks to between one and three (depending on type of report).
• Optimized production and delivery of reports via Salesforce platform with our team and contractors.
• Coordinated across multiple departments to maintain and review guidelines and standards (including FCRA compliance) for analysis of large amounts of privileged and complex information (including litigation, corporate and regulatory records, credit histories, and financial news) into readable, deliverable copy; ensure guidelines and standards keep pace with current industry best-practices.
• Generated new ideas for marketing content for website and client distribution, fine-tuned language used in company press releases and other promotional materials such as white papers.
• Edited reports for both form and content before submission to clients including re-writes and additional research (Lexis-Nexis, Dialog, Westlaw).
• Hired and trained new writers/investigators; mentor and provide ongoing training to and oversight of writers/investigators and junior editors.
