PROCUREMENT ENGINEER (EPC OIL & GAS) August 2012 to Oct 2016

Presson Descon International (Pvt) Limited (PDIL- EPC Division- A Descon Oil & Gas Company)

Managed all purchase activities of project material (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Piping) including engineered package equipment, construction material including consumables, monitoring the activities for effective procurement of material as per project schedule by using SAP MM module. Oversaw logistics operation of the equipment, conversant with import & master list procedures in Pakistan. Providing estimation supports for bidding of new Projects.

As project buyer, I have close liaison with all national & multinational vendors as per approved vendor list provided by client’s ITB. Value added through expediting of deliveries through strong follow-ups with vendors, cost saving at-least 10-15% and vendor management through regular meetings.

Project’s handled:

• MOL Pakistan, Makori GPF EPCC Project (2012-2014).USD 220M

Makori EPCC project having a capacity to process 150 MMSCFD gas, 20,000 bbl./day Oil, 10,000 bbl./day condensate and to recover 240 TPD LPG. Project scope includes oil condensate separation & stabilization, gas dehydration (Mol. sieve based), LPG recovery, Oil condensate and LPG storage/loading, sales gas compression & metering and associated utilities, wellheads, valve assemblies are also included in the EPCC scope.

Pakistan Petroleum Limited, ADHI LPG & NGL Recovery Plant III (2013-2015). USD 100M

Project includes basic and detailed design, engineering, procurement, construction & Commissioning (EPCC) of LPG & NGL recovery plant from Natural gas/Wellhead gas EPCC of ADHI LPG and NGL Recovery Plant III. Capacity: 30 MMSCFD Gas, 5500 BPD stabilized oil/condensate, 800 BPD produced water.

Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Gambat South GPF-II EPCC Project (2014-2017). USD 150M

Gambat South GPF-II natural gas processing project is being installed on EPCC basis by PDIL. GPF-II shall be designed to receive & process normal capacity of 50 MMSCFD raw gas, 1050 BPD condensate & 3000 BPD of free water. Gambat South Block located in District Sangarh, Tehsil Shahdadpur in Sind Province, Pakistan.

National Refinery Limited (2016-2017).

NRL intends to increase throughput of Fuel Refinery Crude Distillation Unit from 50,000 BPD to 53,000 BPD consisting of blend of 46,000 BPD of Arabian light crude and 7,000 BPD of condensate.

Mari Gas Petroleum. High pressure three phase separator. (2012-2013)

MOL Pakistan High pressure three phase separator. (2013-2014).

United Energy Pakistan Limited High pressure three phase separator. (2013).

Job’s Responsibilities:

• All procurement activities starting from tendering stage through project commencement & execution to completion.
• Undertook day-to-day management and control of the contracts and purchasing activities within an operations management project team including adherence to approved processes.

• Created multiple Proposals/Quotations/Tenders in Process Automation division for ABB Motors European and Chinese origin, Drives, field Instrumentations, DCS through wizard, spares parts of DCS and other equipment on a daily basis, per customer’s request-for-quote (RFQ), specifications (formal and in-formal), one-lines etc.
• Performed detailed specification reviews to identify and address issues such as customer requirements, features and accessories required for pricing program and lead-times.
• Approved and negotiated pricing per established guidelines, competitive feedback, and customer/market knowledge.

3.Processed multiple orders to ABB’s feeder factories around the world like Italy, Singapore, UK, USA, and China on a daily basis through SAP modules.
