Experience

2019 Aug - 2020 Jul
Interim CEO
The Young Americans / Corona

I stepped into the role of Interim CEO while also maintaining my full responsibilities as President of The Young Americans College of the Performing Arts. The transition was abrupt and there were many challenges facing the organization. In a short period of time I was successfully able to restore trust with current staff teams and business partners, establish fiscal management processes to improve budget management and reporting functions, develop a restructuring plan to better align labor needs with operational needs, and lay the ground work for programmatic changes to stabilize revenue streams.

2015 Oct - 2020 Jul
President
The Young Americans College of the Performing Arts / Corona, CA
Serving as president of The Young Americans College of the Performing Arts will forever be a career highlight. Under my leadership, the institution successfully applied for accreditation through the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
2013 Jan - 2015 Oct
VP Administration and Academics
The Young Americans College of the Performing Arts / Corona, CA
In this role I was responsible for merging the newly formed College division into the operations of the larger organization. By its nature and by governing agency oversight, the College division had developed a robust operational framework that was policy driven, had strategic focus, and was grounded in principles of continuous improvement cycles. The performance and touring divisions of the organization had experienced recent periods of robust growth and needed to implement similar frameworks to ensure stability and sustainability.
