Before joining TIGA, Marupeddi worked as a software developer at Verizon Business in Richardson, Texas. He worked on several web-based applications at Verizon to help clients manage their services. A notable project involved the E-Bonding system, which allowed Verizon’s business customers to generate orders, manage trouble tickets, and oversee inventory. He contributed by developing web services and ensuring seamless data integration between systems, which helped streamline Verizon’s customer-facing operations.

After his time at Verizon, Marupeddi joined the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare as a Java Developer. He worked on key state applications, including IBES, e-Verify, and Idalink, which were used to determine eligibility for government assistance programs like food stamps and Medicaid. He employed agile and scrum methodologies to improve the functionality of these applications, ensuring they could process and exchange data across state departments more efficiently.

Marupeddi later moved on to ABB in Sugarland, Texas, where he worked as a Software Engineer. There, he contributed to developing the nMarket Suite, a platform used in the energy sector for transaction management, scheduling, and reporting. His work on this project helped streamline the operations of energy companies, improving their ability to manage bidding, scheduling, and settlement processes.

Marupeddi holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Science Engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where he was awarded a full tuition scholarship and stipend for his academic achievements. He also holds a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad, India. To further his expertise, he has earned certifications in Angular 2 and Scrum Product Ownership, ensuring he remains current with the latest developments in software development.

Outside of his professional life, Marupeddi enjoys spending time with his family. He is married to Sravani Rampay, and they have two sons, Eeshan and Ayaan. The family is involved in community service, notably by participating in the Shirdi Sai Jalaram Mandir, where they donate meals to needy people. He is also a fan of sports and enjoys playing badminton. He follows the Green Bay Packers in the NFL and the Houston Rockets in the NBA and keeps up with the Indian national cricket team.
