Summary

Josh Bartch is a consultant, investor, and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in global capital markets. Over the years, he has founded several companies and been directly involved in transactions exceeding one billion dollars. His work focuses on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, reverse mergers, and business development, helping companies grow strategically and enter public markets with clarity and preparation.

He is the CEO of MavDB Consulting, LLC, a firm he established in Puerto Rico, and the founder of Blackstone Mercantile Group, a Bahamas-based smart fund created in 2024. Across both ventures, he helps businesses navigate market expansion, investor engagement, and capital-raising efforts. His career includes work with companies listed on major global exchanges such as the NYSE, Nasdaq, LSE, Euronext, and the Canadian Securities Exchange.

Josh Bartch launched his first business while attending Colorado State University. That early venture, which he sold successfully, laid the foundation for his long-term focus on entrepreneurship and growth strategy. In 2007, he co-founded a digital transcription company that served clients in the medical, legal, and academic sectors. The company gained a strong reputation for accuracy and responsiveness, building a solid nationwide client base.

In 2011, he founded a private investment and advisory firm supporting early-stage and emerging growth companies. He worked directly with leadership teams to shape strategy, raise capital, and prepare for public offerings. His firm helped companies create the structure needed to compete effectively while ensuring they aligned with investor expectations.

After relocating to Puerto Rico in 2020, he launched MavDB Consulting, LLC. The firm offers guidance on capital markets, investor relations, and international listings. He works alongside executive leadership to identify growth opportunities, prepare for uplisting, and create investor-ready messaging. His practical approach aligns business goals with measurable outcomes and market demands.

In 2024, Josh Bartch created Blackstone Mercantile Group Ltd SAC under the Bahamas Smart Fund framework. The fund was designed to offer flexible access to global capital markets while managing risk through a data-informed process. Its structure supports diversification and aims to meet the evolving needs of experienced investors seeking long-term performance and stability across multiple asset classes.

He has helped companies complete complex financial transactions and public listings throughout his career. His experience with various economic systems and regulations allows him to guide businesses through each step with confidence and care. His commitment is to provide actionable insight while building long-term relationships rooted in trust and results.

Beyond his professional roles, Josh Bartch supports several charitable causes. He has contributed to ND Hope’s school-building initiatives in Africa and donated to relief efforts in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria. He also regularly supports organizations that help veterans and first responders. In Puerto Rico, he is involved with Boxing Bullies, a nonprofit that creates safe environments for youth to build discipline and confidence through boxing.

He enjoys spending time on the golf course, where he finds space to think strategically and build personal connections. Traveling is another passion, exposing him to new ideas and global perspectives that inform his business and personal growth.

Josh Bartch studied finance and general academic subjects at Colorado State University and Metropolitan State University of Denver. He resides in Puerto Rico with his son Maverick, continuing his work as an advisor and investor focused on helping companies and investors grow in today’s complex global economy.
