Before attending university, Joseph completed training at the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidates School. The experience played a significant role in shaping his standards-driven mindset. It strengthened his appreciation for accountability, attention to detail, and effective performance in demanding situations. It also reinforced his belief that preparation is often the difference between success and failure when expectations are high. From that foundation, he developed a lasting respect for structure, responsibility, and dependability.
