John Lennox

John Lennox Cummings, who goes by Lennox, graduated summa cum laude from the College of Charleston Beatty School of Business with a 3.95 GPA. He earned a nomination to the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, which recognizes the top 10% of seniors, and was also a Merit Scholar. He completed a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and minored in Spanish. His fluency in Spanish was advantageous during travels to Spain and Mexico, as well as in communication with coworkers.

Alongside his academic achievements, he gained practical experience through multiple internships and work roles. He effectively balanced coursework with professional responsibilities, demonstrating discipline and strong time management skills. Lennox Cummings worked as a Tax/Accounting Intern at a Charleston advisory firm, where he deepened his knowledge of financial planning and became skilled in QuickBooks and Intuit Tax software. He prepared tax returns for 17 C corporations, achieving an average turnaround time of 13 days, and for over 200 families, with a 5-day average turnaround time. His efforts contributed to a 100% client retention rate and no audits.

Before that, he interned at a finance and client relations firm with a similar name, although they are not related. He supported 137 client relationships and assisted with financial reviews and internal fee audits for assets exceeding $400 million.

Cummings is a certified Public Notary in South Carolina. Additionally, he worked as an Inside Sales Intern for a real estate company, making 250 calls daily using Sierra Interactive to identify potential buyers and sellers, achieving a 7% lead qualification rate.
