• Collaborated with digital and communications teams on fundraising strategy, including launching new state- based initiatives to expand health care access in response to attacks on the Affordable Care Act.

• Raised $3.68M from foundation, major gifts, and membership programs, an increase of over $800,000 from previous year.

• Identified, cultivated, and secured new donations including a 4-year commitment of $400,000 in first two months.

• Spearheaded revamping membership program to secure more than 3,000 donations in eight months, generating increase of $43,000 over previous year, and expanded membership program to include mail in addition to digital.

• Engaged directly with Executive Team and Board, providing updates on strategy and fundraising.

• Managed team of two staff and recruited and managed four consulting firms responsible for developing donor relationships and creating collateral materials for donor stewardship.

Served as key advisor to 18 incumbent and challenger Senate campaigns in 2016 election on issues such as: staffing; developing operating budgets and finance plans; and, setting fundraising priorities. Worked daily with candidates, consultants, and senior campaign staff to execute robust finance plans, delivering results that allowed most campaigns to routinely outraise their opposition each quarter.

• Oversaw multi-million-dollar campaign budgets and cash flow, including identifying areas of budgetary concern and developing targeted plans to address challenges through revenue and spending decisions.

• Collaborated with DSCC leadership on strategic spending of Committee funds to key states based on research and polling on the ground.

• Coordinated the hiring process for over 80 campaign finance staff and consultants over two years.

• Engaged surrogates from Democratic Party and Obama Administration to travel to targeted races.

• Led a multi-day training and retreat for more than 20 candidates and senior campaign leaders from across the country, and presented best practices on fundraising strategy and budgeting.

• Directly raised over $780,000 in individual and PAC donations for challenger campaigns.

Led all fundraising efforts for Senator Kay Hagan's reelection campaign, raising $24.5M and an additional $1.4M for the state coordinated campaign, tripling candidate's previous race and becoming the highest grossing Senate campaign in the 2014 election cycle.

• As senior campaign leadership, worked with communications, field, and research teams to develop narrative around the Senator's candidacy. Efforts yielded record engagement by grassroots supporters in local fundraising and elevated the race to prominent national attention, bolstering national high and low-dollar fundraising efforts.

• Engaged national organizations, including EMILY's List, League of Conservation Voters, and Human Rights Campaign, to endorse candidate and raise over $1.6M combined through donor conference calls, events, and digital and direct mail appeals.

• Hired and managed a team of seven employees and six consultants responsible for major gift, direct mail, and telemarketing. Managed a budget of $1.5M for fundraising program that included large-scale, strategic investments in donor acquisition for digital, direct mail and telemarketing programs.

• Planned and executed more than 550 in-state and national events, including events headlined by President Clinton, Vice President Biden, and singers Carole King and James Taylor.

• Developed innovative low-dollar fundraising program focused on key demographics and messages, raising $2.2M over the course of the election cycle in direct mail, the most of any female Democratic candidate in the country, and raising over $4M online from over 75,000 donors.

• Assembled a coalition of national and state organizations, including the American Association of Justice, AFL- CIO, and EMILY's List, to prioritize the race and channel over $4M in donations from individual, political action committees and grassroots donors to campaign.

• Collaborated with other senior staff, media and polling consultants, and national party leadership to frame strategic messaging and public narrative on key campaign issues.

• Recruited and managed a staff of eight employees and three consultants responsible for in-state fundraising, national fundraising, and direct mail.
