Summary

New Jersey native Jeffrey “Jeff” Laino was born on July 12, 1981, in Hackensack, and has lived in the state his entire life. Raised in a culturally diverse household with an Italian father and a mother of Irish, German, and Swiss heritage, Jeff developed a broad worldview early on. His upbringing emphasized responsibility, perseverance, and respect, values that became central to his character and continue to influence his professional focus and personal discipline.

Jeffrey Laino’s academic path reflects both adaptability and determination. He attended Washington School for elementary education, followed by Westwood Junior High School, and later graduated from Bergen Catholic High School in 1999. After a year at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, he transferred to Ramapo College of New Jersey. There, Jeff majored in information systems technology and earned membership in the Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society for strong academic performance and leadership potential.

Jeff began working at a young age, first as a skate guard and party planner at The Rink in Montvale, where his lifelong passion for hockey made the job especially rewarding. In 1999, he joined Architectural Window Manufacturing Corporation, a family-owned business founded by his grandfather. Applying his technical expertise, Jeff helped design inventory systems, develop part numbering structures, and introduce barcode solutions that improved internal efficiency.

As his responsibilities expanded, Jeff transitioned into the mechanical and manufacturing side of the business to gain a deeper understanding of operations. He currently works as a CNC programmer and operator on Emmegi machines, where he continues to build hands-on expertise. His goal is to master as many aspects of the company as possible, positioning himself as a knowledgeable and reliable contributor to the organization's long-term success.

Beyond his career, Jeff Laino is a dedicated athlete and fitness enthusiast. He has competed in multiple sports, most notably roller hockey, where he played in regional and national tournaments and helped the Montvale Rage win the US Junior Olympics National Championship in 1996. His interests also include reading, writing, rare book collecting, gaming, billiards, and weight training, pursuits that reflect both discipline and curiosity.
