Summary

I grew up in Katy, Texas; and, graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in the spring of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and an emphasis in structural engineering. Since a young age, I have always had a fascination with fashion, photography, and engineering that has led me to pursue a career in design, management, and trend analysis. Travel is not an issue, and I would consider relocation if necessary. Compensation and benefits can be discussed with expressed interest.

Experience

2012 Dec - 2013 Jun
Planner/Scheduler
KBR / Houston, TX

Most recently, I worked with KBR as a Planner/Scheduler to develop Implementation, FEED, and Construction Schedules for the $200 million dollar revamp of the existing ammonia plant, and grassroots construction of urea melt and granulation plants at Agriums Borger Nitrogen Operations Plant.

2012 Jan - 2012 Jul
Project Engineer
Ref-Chem / Pasadena, TX

In January of 2012, I became a Project Engineer with Ref-Chem, LP. At the time, they were undergoing a corporate expansion. The project team facilitated the move to 3D modeling with CADWorx and Kubit Point Cloud. I created Ref-Chems first detailed EPC schedule in Primavera Scheduling; and, it serves as a baseline template for use on future projects. With the Sr. Program Manager and VP of Engineering, I assisted in creation and implementation of Ref-Chem's first project monthly review template. As required, applicable guidelines and procedures were updated to reflect Ref-Chem's evolution. In addition to my overhead work tasks, I coordinated the engineering & design of Schenectady International's Franklin Biphenol Expansion Project. Responsibilities included conducting design reviews; performing pipe and valve take-offs; and, approval of equipment data sheets and specifications. Piping; civil and structural; and electrical, instrumentation, and controls drawings were also under my scope of approval. I was also responsible for creation and maintenance of the engineering estimate, risk plan, cost plan, etc.

2010 Aug - 2011 Jun
Technical Specialist
WEST Engineering Services / Brookshire, TX

After the Deepwater Horizon Incident, I decided to pursue a contract with WEST Engineering Services that would allow me to continue to develop knowledge in other areas of engineering. Working with numerous operators, contractors, and manufacturers towards third-party verification of BOP and their control systems in a post-Macando environment taught me the importance of time-management and flexibility in a volatile market. During my time at WEST, I had the honor of certifying the first post-Macando, deepwater, exploratory well program to drill in the Gulf of Mexico. Working with the CEO and our lobbyist to market the company to the senate was also laid upon my shoulders.

2008 Jul - 2009 Mar
Graduate Engineer
Technip / Houston, TX

My career began as a Field Engineer on the ExxonMobil Billings Refinery. There, I took on risk management; procurement, construction management and engineering; and health, safety, and environment roles. Many changes to construction of the selective catalytic reduction, sour water stripper, ammonia, and peroxide units under development came through me on-site; and, I would perform preliminary estimates, gauge project scheduling impact, and facilitate close-out of any project deviation notice.
