Jason Budow
Creative Director / Graphic Designer
Summary
I have worked with a variety of clients/employers, from multi-million dollar companies with franchisees to new start-ups. My experience is vast and varied. I have worked with restaurants, hospitals, colleges, financial institutions and even manufacturing companies. Through all of this diversity, one thing has remained consistent, my sincere passion for design. I have treated each business as if it were my own, leading to our mutual success.
I was fortunate to begin my career 16 years ago at Wolfgang Puck Worldwide. I eagerly jumped into the trenches and learned quickly in a fast paced, high demand environment. My responsibilities quickly grew and soon I was in charge of all in-house design (print and digital) along with other marketing planning and analysis. There I learned the importance of creativity, organization, diligence and how to provide quality work under extreme pressure. I also acted as an art director with other design agencies and thrived in this managerial role. I worked closely and built strong relationships with photographers, print companies, manufacturers and publishers.
After 5+ years with Wolfgang Puck, I decided to create my own company, Budow Design. I have enjoyed freelancing for nationwide chains and industry leaders for over 11 years. My business has been 100% referral-based because I understand that impeccable design skills are not enough. They must be partnered with a great attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done right. I understand that graphic design isn’t just about making things aesthetically pleasing, it’s about creating effective materials. One must truly understand a company’s product/purpose to deliver materials that will peak interest, create excitement, and ultimately increase revenue.
My success doesn’t happen by creating just another pretty marketing piece. It is a result of hard work, attention to detail, a mastery of design skills and listening well to my customer’s needs.
