My name is Janan Buisier, and I recently attained a BA of Arts in Convergence Journalism and Minor in Arabic from Southern Methodist University. My family comes from Libya, I was born in Egypt and moved to the United States at the age of eight. I'm fluent in Both Arabic and English. Growing up being exposed to different cultures allowed me to broaden my horizon and to analyze life, people and situations in a more open-minded way. It also influenced my interest in writing and communications. I carry a constant desire to learn more about the world around me and believe that there are always new things, places and people to study. I've interned for Clear Channel Radio in Boston, MA, written articles published by Dallas South News and Pegasus News. Conducted PR work for the largest independent national audio company in America during the NCAA's Final Four Radio Row and conducted Marketing, video production and research work for an International petroleum consultant company.
