Post Production Coordinator

As the Post Production Coordinator of this major motion picture entity, I was responsible for the day-to-day post production needs required to ensure timely and efficient project completion. This included all aspects for editorial, sound, finishing, and delivery.

I was responsible for the set-up of world-wide editorial offices as needed during the production and post production process, while building and maintaining relationships with vendors, labs and post facilities world-wide. I would oversee the services provided, and verify invoices submitted for payment against purchase orders. Other functions required in this role were the booking of internal screenings, projection of digital screenings, creation of video transfers as needed, and facilitating feature dailies uploads for studio executives. I was the Gatekeeper for PIX system.

As a mentor, leader and educator, I would train and supervise the feature post production trainees, and provide office management for the EVP of Post Production, including the creation of studio-wide distributed weekly post production reports, travel and expense reports, and any other necessary general administrative tasks.

I would interface with studio executives and physical production finance regarding the various statuses of current projects, and provide office management for the VP and Executive Director. This would include managing phones, schedules, rolling calls, expense reports, and other general administrative duties.
