Jaime Irick is an accomplished leader celebrated for his ability to navigate organizations through significant transitions and growth. As the former CEO of Pittsburgh Paints Company, Jaime directed a $2 billion carve-out from PPG Industries, leading the company into a successful new era under private equity ownership. His vision and operational focus ensured Pittsburgh Paints continued to set the standard in paints, stains, caulks, sealants, and building products, serving customers across the United States and Canada through a vast network of company-owned stores and retail partners.


Significant leadership roles in major corporations mark Jaime’s professional path. Upon joining PPG in 2019, he advanced rapidly into senior management, eventually overseeing both the Architectural Coatings divisions for the United States and Canada, as well as the Global Traffic Solutions business. As the leader of over 7,000 employees and $3 billion in annual revenue, Jaime played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction as a member of the PPG Operating Committee.

His leadership extends beyond PPG. As President of Life Fitness, Jaime managed the $1 billion fitness equipment division of Brunswick Corporation, guiding it through a complex transition to private equity ownership. Before that, he spent over a decade at General Electric, advancing through key leadership roles. As President & CEO of GE Lighting Solutions and a GE Company Officer, he led the company’s global LED lighting business. He helped pioneer innovative educational programs, such as the founding of GE’s MC2STEM high school on the company’s campus—a unique blend of corporate engagement and educational outreach.

Jaime’s impact reaches into the boardroom and the broader community. He serves on the board of Illinois Tool Works, a Fortune 500 company that generates nearly $16 billion in revenue, and contributes his expertise to several nonprofit organizations. His governance experience is grounded in a commitment to values-driven leadership and a focus on community impact.

A proud graduate of West Point with a degree in Systems Engineering, Jaime competed in Division I basketball and went on to serve five years as a U.S. Army Field Artillery Officer, attaining the rank of Captain and becoming an Army Airborne Ranger. He later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and has been recognized in prominent publications and business books for his leadership journey.

Jaime Irick and his wife are passionate supporters of education, providing endowed scholarships for under-resourced students. Raised in the Bronx and now residing in Pittsburgh with their three children, He enjoys exploring biographies and watching his children pursue their passions.
