PROGRAM DIRECTOR & SENIOR STAFF TENNIS PROFESSIONAL

The Country Club, Chestnut Hill, MA

• Served as Junior Program Director (September-May): Increased weekly participation from 60 to 110 youth (aged 7 to 17 years), grew program from 4 days to 6 days per week, and managed 3 program staff.
• Directed Friday Night Junior Competition Tennis Series (September-March): Managed 2- hour event each Friday for youth (aged 7 to 17 years) which allowed participants to accumulate points, ensured proper court reservations, oversaw player management, and determined winners at Series end based on point-ranking system.
• Served as Head Coach for Annual Montreal vs. TCC Men's Tennis Tournament, and as

Tournament Director for Annual Junior Club Tennis Championships: Managed tennis, clubhouse, and housekeeping staff; solicited donations and bought participant prizes from tennis vendors (Babolat, Head, Wilson, Prince); and oversaw player management.

• Created Annual Halloween Party for members: Organized administration, billing, and budgeting for event; ensured adequate food and refreshments; purchased prizes and solicited donations from sporting goods companies; and grew party to 100+ participants.

• Served as Operations Director for Chinese Men's Basketball Association (12 teams throughout China with both Chinese and American players and coaches): Managed

American players and coaches; coordinated November event where all teams arrived in GuangZhou for training (arranged practice facility, housing, and Reebok gear); and served as translator and liaison between Chinese and American players, and between American players and local community members to ensure smooth event.

• Served as Operations Director for GuangZhou Rams basketball team.
• Served as Operations Manager for Salem Open (one-week long professional tennis tournament): Negotiated vendor contracts and hired vendors, managed vendors, coordinated tournament logistics, and supervised tournament staff.

Suzhou, China

• Hired to teach English to students in grades 5 through 8 (~100 students per year).
• Promoted to supervise 10 teachers (5 Americans, 5 other nationalities) teaching English classes, and to resolve conflicts between teachers and school.
• Traveled throughout JiangSu Province presenting English language demonstrations to large groups of students and administrators to garner interest for Suzhou Language School.
• Acted in film series (Hu Xue Yan) with Mandarin-speaking role.
