Logistics Coordinator

- Spends approximately 75% of the time in the warehouse with associates, building relationships, coaching, teaching, developing and providing performance feedback
- Provides direct supervision and discipline to a team of skilled employees Including warehouse leads and warehouse associates
- (EMC) Emirates cargo and other airlines and operations plans and coordination's
- Ensure First In/First Out (FIFO) and Last in/First Out (LIFO) policies are adhered to as defined in departmental procedures
- Coordinating with EK Flight cargo team leaders and arranging loading and offloading time to time
- Responsible for creating and supporting a positive work environment by observing and coaching employees on proper job-related behaviors and providing timely feedback on necessary action plans, Coaching new team members and blue collar manpower staffs.
- Sets and communicates clear expectations for team members regarding expected productivity results
- Makes recommendations to and supports the Operations Manager in preparing annual performance evaluations for warehouse associates and providing performance related information to employees
- Ensures that KPI’s and accuracy standards meet DC objectives , Performance reviews and coaching's
- Supporting management with resource planning and management e.g. implement agreed processes to review performance, monitoring absence, sickness and address issues within clear guidelines. Knowledge of AMS (Address management systems)
- In partnership with others, plans and uses independent discretion to organize day-to-day operations activities, labor schedules and objectives
- Takes responsibility for wave planning, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly targets, goals and shift turnover, Inventory management and stock accuracy.
- Improves efficiency, quality and service of ongoing work by identifying process improvements and using best judgment to determine next steps for influencing change and partnering with leadership to resolve
- Responsible for assigning work, meeting completion deadlines, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organization policies
