As a Consultant Sales Executive, I assisted entrepreneurs to find the most convenient way to incorporate their business in the US, to legally protect their investment and to deal with many other challenges that they face as business owners. I served customers on the phone and in person, I understood what they need and helped them to select, from a portfolio of more than 60 professional and legal products, the ones that offers them the most value. I had to deal with small, medium and big companies.

As a Senior Sales Executive, my main main focus was to prospect and contact C-Level executives from organizations such as local and international Banks, Multinational Corporations, Government Regulators, among others, and to understand their needs in terms of training on areas such as global finance or legal compliance. Once I had identified the business opportunity and we both understand the mutual gains, my job was to pitch them about the executive meetings and the high level training solutions offered by the Capital Markets Intelligence Division, part of the Marcus Evans Group, based in London. Secondary, I had an active role on training new sales executives for the Miami office.

Cuba Emprende is an initiative of the Archdiocese of Havana, Cuban Catholic Church, and the US based Cuba Emprende Foundation to incubate new business in Cuba. As a business consultant, my main focus was to advise entrepreneurs on their business plans, mainly in their sales plan, and to help them define the most effective commercial strategy. Also, I taught regular weekly workshops on “Sales”, and occasionally workshops on “Corporate Social Responsibility”, “How to Improve Customer Service” and “Creativity for Business”. Secondary, I worked as communications manager for the CE initiative.

As a member of the Editorial Board, my responsibilities were to discuss the papers submitted by various authors for publication and, if necessary, work with them to improve their style or the scope of their analysis. Also, I had to write original content for the magazine, suggest new topics for the subsequent issues and contribute to keep the publication at the higher editorial and professional standards.

As an adjunct professor my job was directly related to teaching, academic research and discussions meetings with other professors. The subjects I was assigned to were: Theory of the State, Theory of the Law and Philosophy of the Law. Secondary, I was also involved in the development of the early digital platform of the faculty.

Traços Perfeitos Comunicação is a private angolan advertising and marketing company. As their main business developer executive, my job was to prospect and meet clients, understand their needs and plan the best course of action for their strategic communications. As a creative copywriting and screenwriting, I was also involved on the development of the creative products, mainly TV and Radio ads. Among my clients, were companies like Angola Telecom, Angola TV Cabo and other private and public institutions.

As the main screenwriter of the legal TV show "Al Derecho", my job was to identify subjects in the Cuban legal system that were of interest to the general audience. Then, write a script that would address these problems in a practical and educational way. I did this by participating in reports that were made on the streets with real cases, interviewing the people involved and, as a final step, inviting lawyers of vast and diverse expertise to the TV Studio to explain the legal solutions at hand.

As a social researcher my activities were related to the planning, designing and management of scientific research projects, developed by a multidisciplinary team. These projects were carried out successfully, by applying a variety of research techniques to gather relevant information, including document analysis, surveys, case studies and interviews.

This is an executive MBA and the core courses are: Macroeconomics, Marketing management and strategy, Competitive Strategy, Behaviour in Organizations, Finance and Accounting, Operations Management, among others.

The studies program of the Faculty of Law of the University of Habana included 5 years of in depth semesters on subjects such as: Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Property, Contracts, Civil Procedure, Family Law, Criminal Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Procedure, Labor Law, Environmental Law, Intellectual Property, Public and Private International Law, among many others. Once you graduate, you can practise your profession in any branch of the Law.
