Contract position as a Workers Compensation Specialist with the Home office of EXPRES. Assist

employees with his/her work related injury from the 1st report of injury to injury investigation.

● Review and process bills Working with the 3rd party administrator who administers the WC

claims

Providing explanations of the WC process to associates in multiple jurisdictions (multi-state)

● Provides oversight on clients behalf regarding claim handling procedure Complete

multi-jurisdictional forms for the 3rd party administrator

● Review and process WC subpoenas as well as the day to day claim handling and processing

of Workers Compensation Leave of Absence forms

● Review and process WC subpoenas as well as the day to day claim handling and processing

of Workers Compensation Leave of Absence forms

● Reporting of the Workers Compensation quarterly and annual reporting as needed Review

and submit payroll for missed time related to a work related injury

● Set up tables using Excel to track all injuries

Whereas I manage

Ohio Workers Compensation claims from initiation to an appropriate and timely resolution/ closure

● Senior Adjuster, Analyzed and processed complex or technically difficult claims by investigating and gathering information to determine the exposure on the claim

● Interview claimant and witnesses to gather pertinent information

● Develop through action plans to proactively manage disability and disputed claims issues

● Review, authorize or deny incoming requests for treatment or service based on claim

allowance and national disability guidelines.

Contacts customers who are delinquent in the repayment of their loans and obtains payments,

commitment agreements or establishes a repayment plan. Follows set policies and procedures when determining suitable collection solutions under federally set fair debt and collection practices.

In partnership with the risk management team, develop, implement and monitor facility safety

programs with specific emphasis on employee safety and OSHA compliance.

● Investigate any safety or loss-related incident and prepare detailed reports concerning matters

investigated. Administers job safety program: audits/inspects job site to detect and correct

safety hazards;
