Fina Garcia-Blanco

For the past 3+ years, I have been working as the only Graphic Designer with the title of Digital Media Specialist for AV-Tech Media. My responsibilities included the design, animation, and scheduling of internal digital signage systems for AV-Tech, Chick-fil-A, Ernst & Young, Cox Automobile, and others. I am also responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining AV-Tech's website and blog. I was asked to help with print and digital assets for Chick-fil-A's internal team meetings which included logo designs, designing their PowerPoints, directional signage, and video editing which often included animation. Before working for AV-Tech I completed two design internships that focused on branding in addition to working as a SCAD Student Tutor in Graphic Design software, Animation, and Web Design.

I feel very comfortable using Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, After Effects, Affinity Designer, and Affinity Photo. Even though I am not an expert in coding, I feel comfortable developing and troubleshooting PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

At the moment I am looking to grow professionally and interact with a team of designers who share a passion for the design process and have a deep understanding of Graphic Design rules including knowing when to break them.
