Summary
Ethan Ruby, Esq., is a New York attorney and licensed independent insurance adjuster with a focus on labor law, insurance defense, and high-exposure claims. His academic foundation was formed through studies at the Bronx High School of Science, Binghamton University, and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He currently serves as a Senior Claim Specialist at National Claim Services, where he applies his skills in litigation, mediation, and risk transfer. He also holds licenses as a real estate salesperson, notary public, and insurance adjuster.
Born in 1995 and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, he was brought up in a multicultural household with dual citizenship in the United States and France. His parents owned and operated a hospitality business in New York City, and their work ethic and leadership played a significant role in shaping his approach to professional life.
During high school, Etha was active in sports and served on the school’s state-champion mock trial team. He began his undergraduate studies in New Orleans, where he became involved in community outreach, particularly with programs supporting young boys who had lost their fathers. He later transferred and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Law in December 2017.
Before attending law school, Attorney Ethan Ruby worked as a paralegal at a business immigration firm and served as a Judicial Intern at the New York County Supreme Court. These roles gave him early exposure to legal practice and judicial processes. While in law school, he joined the mediation clinic, worked as an Associate Editor for a legal journal, and completed internships at public service organizations focused on legal aid and defense.
After passing the New York Bar in 2021, Etha began his legal career concentrating on labor law and insurance litigation. He drafted legal documents, conducted depositions, managed discovery, and worked on high-exposure cases involving complex issues. In 2023, he advanced into a broader role handling labor law and tort matters.
Since September 2024, Ethan Ruby has overseen complex claims involving labor law, construction accidents, and property damage, bringing diligence and clear legal strategy to every case.
