Erin Junkermeier
Summary
Having worked in several different fields in numerous capacities has made me multifaceted with the ability to deal with situations in a way that most people cannot. I believe in the motto "kindness matters" and there is always an opportunity to challenge oneself and learn more. I know that I am an asset to whatever I take on. I am eagerly looking forward to the next venture and hopeful for what my future has in store.
Experience
Patient Services Representative/Scheduler
Via Christi Health / Wichita, KS
I work for Via Christi Health on a full time basis answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling and rescheduling appointments and procedures in a busy specialists practice. Filing, typing, faxing, scanning, mail distribution and filtering are just a few of the many things I do at Via Christi. I am constantly seeking out new things to do to help our department run as smoothly as possible.
Front office
Junkermeier & Sons Construction / Wichita, KS
I type up invoices and bid proposals for the company that my husband and I own. I do this on a part time basis as we are a small, hometown based company.
Independent Contractor/Transcriptionist
Morningside Partners / Lanham, MD
Listened to audio from conference calls from very diverse businesses, transcribed then edited that audio for the company. Once done, it was uploaded into a repository. I learned a lot of different things about the financial side of many businesses and the stock market, used a lot of medical and business terminology and did all of this while staying within the deadlines that were imposed.
Education
Wichita State University

I took four classes one semester at WSU. I had a 3.0 GPA. It was too difficult to try to work full time, go to school full time and still be there for my children who were teenagers at the time.
Cowley County Community College
Associate's of Applied Science / Office procedures, Business Communications, Computers
I have a two year degree in Office Education or what they would call now, Office Administration. I was the President of Phi Beta Lambda my second year in school and graduated with a 3.26 GPA.
