As Senior Analyst at Virginia Retirement System, I managed the automation of passive portfolio construction, matching of key rate duration, credit quality, and geographical exposure during monthly rebalancing by using SQL and MATLAB scripting knowledge. I oversaw and summarized asset allocation, sector tilts, risk contribution, and performance attributions for fixed income portfolios of $12B by researching, assembling, and analyzing internal reports. I bridged communication gap between back-office personnel and external vendors to establish new trading and risk applications. I coordinated with VRS’s credit strategies team in risk modelling.
