Percolate Inc / New York, NY
Percolate (acquired by Seismic) is a leading Content Marketing Platform used by the biggest brands & enterprises. I led more than half of Percolate’s engineering team which was responsible for flagship products like Marketing Calendar, Campaign Management, Digital Asset Management, Social Publishing, and Analytics.
- Provided engineering leadership during planning, execution of “Percolate Next” release - the biggest upgrade of Percolate’s multi-tenant stack to date. It was rolled out to all customers with ZERO downtime.
- During my final year, I led the Percolate Platform Initiative. Worked with my engineers & Product Mgmt team to define API & Integration strategy to enable third party applications within Percolate stack.
- Participated in Architecture design reviews and provided technical guidance on complex projects.
- Acted as a change agent to move away from a culture of unplanned, ad-hoc feature releases to planned & coordinated scheduled releases by introducing scrum, 2-week sprints & demo practice within the organization. Worked closely with Product Mgmt for a well-defined product roadmap & alignment with the rest of the company.
- Rolled out tools (like JIRA, Confluence) & repeatable processes to the entire Engineering organization for effective project planning, dependency management, QA & transparency across teams.

Engineering Manager - Analytics
Marketo Inc / San Mateo, CA
Marketo (acquired by Adobe) is the market leader in the Marking Automation & Lead Management category. I led the engineering team that was responsible for Marketo’s entire Analytics product offerings.
- Hired as a first engineer to lead the development Analytics product. Built an Analytics engineering team from scratch and launched the “Revenue Cycle Analytics” product from concept to production within the first year. Analytics product had 70+ % attachment rate to the core Marketo product.
- Responsible for the architecture & development of a multi-tenant, SaaS analytics platform. During the first 4 years, we scaled the platform to host 3000+ customers of varying sizes. Collaborated with the Ops team to build robust production monitoring & alerting tools for the analytics platform.
- Led the vendor selection process for Reporting & ETL tools for Analytics product. Our team was recognized at the 2011 Pentaho Summit as "Fastest Deployment", for integrating the Pentaho Reporting tool (OEM) with Marketo’s application within 8 weeks.
- Hands-on development of infrastructure (J2EE) for managing Analytics Application metadata, ETL Scheduling & Orchestration in a multi-tenant environment.
- Closely worked with the Customer Success leadership team for management & timely resolution of ongoing customer escalations & deployment issues.
- Oversaw R&D effort for next-gen Analytics platform using Big Data technologies like Hadoop, HBase.

Software Architect/Dev Manager
LucidEra / San Mateo, CA
LucidEra was an OnDemand Business Intelligence (BI) solution, where I led the development of middleware for the BI platform. It included Metadata Management Services, Configuration & Orchestrations Services, and Metadata Authoring tool (Workbench).
- Managed a team of 7 Engineers & QA, to deliver multiple major releases of the BI platform. Established agile practices within the development/QA team for on-time delivery with high quality.
- Led ideation & development of the “Configurator” - Self-service module to configure Analytics application metadata. This module reduced new customer onboarding time from a few days to a few hours.
- Architected and championed the development of Analytics Application Upgrade Infrastructure and WH data preservation feature. It reduced WH upgrade times by up to 15x for customers with high data volume.
