Though I enjoy my current employer, I have reached a moment in my life when I want to step up in my career. In other words, I am ready for a challenge and would love to be a part and make a difference in a company’s ambitious journey.
I believe I could be an asset to any company as I am experienced in HR, general administration, accounting, guest relations & compliance. I am bilingual (French/English), I speak Spanish, I am beginning to learn Mandarin Chinese and I am a quick study. No tasks are too small for me. You just do what you have to do! I believe in living outside my comfort zone, this is the only way to learn, to change and to contribute to the world.
I moved to the United Stated in 1995 to teach French at the University of Michigan & did so till December 2002 when I moved to Napa to start a new career in the wine industry. I was lucky to be hired immediately and to spend the past ten years of my life first learning about guest relations, and later on compliance, accounting, human resources & general administration.
I have managerial experience as I used to supervise a team of 10 to 15 teachers and 450 students when I became a coordinator at the University of Michigan. I am detailed, extremely organized and “no-nonsense”. Over the years, I have established an effective relationship with upper management and all other employees. I am trusted for my judgment and my discretion.
My profile is somewhat unusual as my professional journey has taken me places I would have never thought I would go. I have proved my ability to learn new skills in a new field in the past and, I always do so with passion & dedication. I am sure any position would be humbling, challenging & exhilarating. I make you the promise that I will work hard & with great enthusiasm. I am ready to roll up my sleeve, work long hours, help in any ways I can, and be part of an exciting enterprise.
