• Led the design of the strategic plan to reach net sales growth targets in +25% and EBITDA +7,4 p.p. in 2018.

• Improved EBIT in US$0,5 million by implementing the first ever “pricing” strategy in 5 countries, focused on transactional profitability improvement (customer & segment pocket margin).

• Launched a 12-month strategic initiative program with estimated net benefits of US$2,3 million, focused on contribution margin improvement, fixed-cost and working capital optimization.

• Completed business cases for investment projects of ~ US$7,0 million in the infrastructure and distribution segments and delivered investment recommendations to the Executive Committee and Corporate in Brussels.

• Improved the new product introduction process and key project approval by implementing the “Stage-Gate” methodology in 5 countries, involving technical departments, marketing, sales and country managers.

• Optimized the strategic initiatives portfolio, reducing it in 50%, and focusing resources (CAPEX and SG&A) on the most profitable ones and with better alignment with LAN’s strategic objectives.

• Ensured funding for 100% of strategic initiatives by aligning long-range planning (LRP), Budget and CAPEX with LAN’s Balanced Scorecard.

• Designed the strategy and implementation plan for the mid-tier corn business, valuated in US$40 million.

• Led a multifunctional team of 12 managers to build the critical path for the introduction and commercialization of corn biotechnology in Mexico, expected to contribute with 11% of EBIT goals in 2015.
