Bryan began The Kocen Financial Group in 1991, determined to build a financial practice focused on the personal aspect of advising. Recognizing that financial decisions extend beyond numbers, he has always prioritized learning about clients’ values, fears, and aspirations. His firm offers comprehensive financial solutions, including retirement income planning, estate and wealth transfer strategies, tax management, and investment risk analysis. He takes great care to explain the rationale behind every recommendation, ensuring that clients feel empowered, educated, and secure in their financial choices.

His involvement with the Boy Scouts of America spans many years, culminating in his role as President of the California Inland Empire Council from 2021 to 2023. He has also been active with the National Jewish Committee on Scouting, mentoring youth and promoting leadership development. He believes strongly in empowering the next generation by teaching values such as integrity, service, and responsibility.

Additionally, Bryan has a deep-rooted passion for Jewish philanthropy. He has served nearly three decades in leadership roles with the Jewish Federation of the Desert, where he was honored as Young Leader of the Year in 1993. He also serves on the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies board in Jerusalem. In a deeply personal tribute, he commissioned a Torah scroll in 2023 to honor his late wife, exemplifying his enduring commitment to faith, tradition, and legacy.

Academically, Bryan graduated magna cum laude from Union College with a degree in Managerial Economics and earned his MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He has shared his financial expertise with future professionals by teaching investment courses as an adjunct professor at the College of the Desert.

Bryan enjoys traveling, hiking, and exploring diverse cultures. He also actively participates in local community organizations, including the Palm Springs Lions Club and the Chabad of Rancho Mirage Golf Tournament.
