Brian Casella

As the founder and principal of BDC Realty, Brian oversees commercial properties throughout Connecticut. His responsibilities include identifying new investments, managing property renovations, and working closely with tenants. With a strong understanding of market conditions, property values, and long-term planning, he ensures the company remains competitive and financially sound.

His lighting design is done through an event production company based in Brookfield. Brian works on various events, including corporate gatherings, private functions, brand activations, weddings, and large-scale productions. Each project is approached with attention to space, purpose, and audience experience. His clients include individuals from entertainment and design, healthcare, automotive, technology, finance, and education companies. Several schools have also collaborated with him for event lighting solutions.

Brian uses current lighting technology, such as LED fixtures and wireless control systems, to create visually compelling and energy-efficient designs. His collaboration with event producers, planners, and venues ensures that each project meets both creative expectations and technical requirements.

Brian studied technical theater and lighting design at Western Connecticut State University and earned an Electrical Design and Management degree. This educational background gives him a strong foundation in the artistic and engineering aspects of his work. He also served as a volunteer board member at a local theater, contributing to the arts within his community.

Outside of his professional work, he enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with his dog, Oakley. These experiences allow him to recharge and maintain a balanced perspective.
