He joined Electric Boat in 2020 and, through his performance, quickly earned the position of First Class Warehouseman. His strong leadership and dedication led to his promotion to Working Leader. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and organization. As the Department Safety Leader, he plays a vital role in implementing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Before joining Electric Boat, he worked for 7 years at Seaside Beach Club, gaining valuable experience in construction, maintenance, and customer service. He also worked at Walmart in Rhode Island, focusing on inventory management and customer service. Bobby Atkins graduated from Stonington High School and attended the University of Connecticut’s Avery Point and Mitchell College.

Outside of his professional work, he is actively involved in his community. He supports youth basketball programs, volunteers with local organizations such as the YMCA and the Stonington Community Center, and participates in recreational sports leagues. Basketball remains a significant passion for him, and he enjoys competing in local leagues.
