• Lease with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels within all stores and prevent any out off stock. To present weekly reports on out of stock lines to the business within a time frame. • Allocate fabric and fabric accessories merchandise to stores. • Responsible for ensuring all changes to product information (e.g. prices, descriptions, pack sizes) are updated on SAP. • Preparing weekly sales reports of the department and for the business to review. • Provide “ad hoc” administration support to the team and wider business. Researched forthcoming market trends and colour stories taking inspiration for innovative and fresh design ideas and new techniques within this large-scale home ware supplier’s head office; adopted a collaborative approach with senior management and the design team in the production of interior fabrics: • Facilitated the timely completion of ad-hoc administrative functions, including the creation of project sample spreadsheets. • Liaised with the sales team, factory and new suppliers regarding new processes, designs and techniques. • Requested sample amendments and re-working of designs. Key achievements • Consulted with the UK agent to analyse and delineate international client briefs. • Prepared for Heimtextil 2012 and Proposte 2013 trade fairs; researched and gathered stand theme and prop ideas. • Assembled new collections, including producing new designs and developing brought artwork. • Presented Cads of layer separated colour work, for new trend collections to management for approval.

• Explored the fundamental principles of textiles, including themes of visual research, colour, mark making and pattern construction. • Cemented knowledge encompassing digital media and digital production, together with experience in software, such as Photoshop and techniques including screen-printing, laser cutting, pleating and fabric dyeing.
