Summary

My professional experience in the corporate and hospitality industry, along with my educational and extensive background in business, makes me an excellent candidate.

While working for Univision Communications Inc., I applied my professional skills within the company starting as an Administrative Assistant then advanced to an Executive Assistant within the Research Department. After two years of applying my skills, I was promoted to the Coordinator of the Corporate Marketing and Communications Department. As an assistant, I was responsible for office communications and correspondence as well as organized and planned meetings and events. Within the Marketing and Communications Department, my responsibilities consisted of writing weekly memos to the department heads, ran overnight ratings, posted press releases to BusinessWire/PRwire, and assisted team members with corporate campaigns and the upfront.

The last couple of years, I have taken the skills I learned in the corporate industry and applied them to the hospitality industry. While in this industry, I gained valuable practice in running the day-to-day activities of a restaurant and learned how to manage staff. It’s also helped me refine my communication and people skills, the ability to multi-task and be a team player.
