Summary
As a recent graduate at California State University, Fullerton, I completed a minor in English and majored in Communications with an emphasis in print journalism. I worked as Opinion Editor Assistant for The Daily Titan, which was an experience that I value greatly. I was on staff for two semesters and contributed a large amount of material for print and online. I contributed to all sections of the paper from opinion, features, art and entertainment, news, breaking news and social media such as live tweeting. I interned with a Texas lifestyle magazine that has given me insight into writing and editing in the magazine industry and write for an entertainment website reviewing various rock bands and scouting concerts in Los Angeles. I’m passionate, dedicated and responsible. I thrive off of documents, data and deadlines. I value the essence of teamwork and communication greatly. I am always looking to better myself as a worker and as a person, and I do that through journalism.
