Andrew Lake

Andrew Lake is a recent graduate who works as Research and Development Manager at Lakefront Development Group. In this role, he focuses on conducting market research and detailed analysis to support commercial real estate development in the Pittsburgh and South Florida markets. He is also responsible for creating and implementing strategies that help identify and develop new investment opportunities. His background has given him strong skills in financial analysis, market research, quality management systems, project management, and client relations, which he applies to his professional responsibilities.

Andy Lake completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship with a concentration in Finance at the University of South Florida. During his time there, he was recognized with the Green and Gold Scholars Award in 2020, which offered tuition support to first-year out-of-state students with strong academic results. While at the university, he was also active in the Sigma Chi Fraternity for four years. As Ritual Chair, he upheld the values of the organization while leading fundraising efforts that supported the Huntsman Cancer Institute, showing his dedication to leadership and service.

His earlier education reflected a balance of academic achievement and athletics. At Marshall Middle School, Lake was named to the Honor Roll in the 2014–2015 academic year. At North Allegheny Senior High School, he managed both academics and athletics, earning multiple Scholar Athlete Awards for football, basketball, and lacrosse. He also participated in Summer’s Best Two Weeks Camp, where he was recognized for his work ethic, positive influence, and encouragement of his peers. He graduated from high school with a 3.6 GPA, earned multi-year Scholar-Athlete recognition, and was named a finalist for the John Rullan Lacrosse Scholarship in 2020.

His professional experience began early with an internship at SRI Quality System Registrar in Wexford. During this time, he became the youngest in company history to achieve an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certificate after completing a two-month training program with SAE International. His work there included assisting with quality management audits and improving communication processes between clients and internal scheduling teams. Andrew also built valuable experience in customer service and teamwork through previous positions at The Toy House and Emporio Restaurant.

He is proficient in Microsoft Office, has foundational knowledge of Python programming, and speaks basic Spanish. His community service includes volunteering with the Miracle League, an organization that gives children with disabilities the chance to participate in baseball in an inclusive environment.

Born in Marietta, Georgia, Andrew values his close family relationships, which include four siblings, a niece, and a nephew. In his personal life, he enjoys golfing with a 14 handicap, playing basketball and football with his siblings, and spending time on hobbies such as traveling, fishing, cooking, and aviation, which he explored through lessons during high school.
