Andrew Byer

Andrew Byer Attorney born in Jersey City, New Jersey, in 1962, was influenced by his Italian immigrant mother's heritage from a young age. This cross-cultural upbringing, including periods spent in Italy, fostered a deep understanding of international cultures, profoundly shaping his future legal career. He completed his undergraduate degree in Political Science at Columbia University in 1984, where he also participated in a study abroad program in France, further developing his international perspective.

After graduating with a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 1987, Andrew initiated his legal career in South Florida. One of his earliest roles was as Lease Administrator and Legal Counsel for the Miracle Marketplace shopping mall in Coral Gables, where he was instrumental in managing complex lease negotiations and tenant relations.

Andrew's career direction pivoted towards international business in 1990 when he took on the role of Director of Operations for Maria Pia, an Italian shoe manufacturer. Tasked with overseeing the company's closure of operations in the U.S., his fluency in Italian and understanding of international business laws were crucial in smoothly managing this transition.
