Responsible for performing Ultrasound procedures and evaluating the quality of exams done Responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice and managing supplies, and equipment on the unit Responsible for meeting the established policies/standards of practice for this facility Adheres to and complies with HCA's ethics and compliance policies and procedures in the Code of Conduct. Attends annual training sessions Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers Possesses knowledge of medical terminology sufficient to work accurately within the Imaging Department.

Operates Ultrasound Imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information. In doing so, ensures the patient is properly prepared, obtains a relevant patient history and assures proper positioning. Selects proper imaging techniques and follows department protocols in order to provide a complete study for the exam requested. Provides complete documentation of the exam and provides the Radiologist with an initial interpretation.

Performed Diagnostic Ultrasound Examinations in busy Clinical setting under ARDMS Registered mentor and Dept. Assisted doctors with surgeries and non-invasive procedures. Executed ultrasound guided procedures as well as limited OB ultrasound procedures for the Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Departments. Write detailed reports on findings and ensure all appropriate paper work is scanned into pacs

Performed abdominal, OB/Gyn, and small parts exams. Assist Radiologists in Cath Lab Procedures, and special procedures such as Paracentesis, biopsies, etc. Worked with GE Logic 9, Toshiba), Acuson and PAC's system
