Allison Brito

As a trained writer and editor, I am eager to take the next step in my career with a growing publication.

My strengths lie in both the creative aspects of publishing, as well as the organizational, team-building, and problem-solving role of project managing.

I have worked in the start-up world of digital news as an assistant editor for two years. I write, assign stories, set deadlines, copy edit, and fact check. For the past year I have also taken on the position of General Manager. It is my responsibility to assess what type of news our readers digest, how often, and in what form. I not only set metrics and goals for our marketing, advertising, and editorial teams, but I work to ensure that projected goals are regularly met.

I'm looking forward to building on my current experience, as well as to bring my ambition, ideas, and work ethic to a company eager to grow.
