Agustin Tristan

Agustin has spent the last seven years working as a management consultant for the healthcare and industrials sectors; starting businesses in apparel, technology, manufacturing, real estate, restaurants, and franchises; and working in the financial sector for Goldman Sachs as a Project Manager currently establishing the Mexico Broker Dealer office.

Prior to working for Goldman Sachs, Agustin became an active entrepreneur, leveraging his experience as a managing consultant to drive efficiencies and identifying business opportunities in the United States and Mexico. He is the majority owner and founder of Samba Smoothie which is one of the first smoothie franchises in Mexico and Latin America.

Agustin has always had a strong passion for sports. He won six gold medals at the Junior World Racquetball Championships, three National Racquetball Intercollegiate titles, was ranked top 20 in the world in the Professional Racquetball Tour for seven years, and recently finished 7th in the world at the World Racquetball Championship in Dominican Republic in 2012.

Agustin graduated top of his class with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering and Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Alabama. He currently works as an Associate in Goldman Sachs New York.
