This position reports to the Head Coach and is responsible for assisting with all aspects of running a successful Division I Women's Basketball program, while adhering to all NCAA, UW-Green Bay, UW System and State of Wisconsin rules, regulations and policies.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
Coordinate the video recording and editing of practices and games as directed by Head Coach.
Assist in creating and scheduling content for all social media platforms.
Break down video of practices/games and provide to coaching staff for use in planning practices and workouts (team and individual).
Break down opposing team game film and assist in the creation of a scouting report for all opponents.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the women’s basketball program.
Facilitate scheduling with the Kress Events Center staff and the Resch Center.
Coordinate travel arrangements for all women’s basketball away games including but not limited to bussing, airfare, and hotels.
Prepare team travel expense reports that include required documentation for all expenses incurred. Track expenses to ensure actual expenses stay within the team travel budget.
Assist with the recruitment of student-athletes, including but not limited to: development of recruiting materials to provide prospective student athletes, official and unofficial visits, breakdown of video provided by prospective student athletes.
Coordinate film exchange with opponents.
Monitors team travel budget; provides oversight to student managers.
Minimum Qualifications: Background in a collegiate basketball setting, working knowledge of NCAA and Horizon League rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior teaching/coaching experience. Experience in college basketball work enviornment.
