Albright College, an NCAA Division III and ECAC affiliated institution and member of the Middle Atlantic Conference, seeks qualified candidates for the position of Director of Sports Information.
This position reports to the Co-Directors of Athletics and is responsible for the preparation and distribution of all athletic news and records to the media, college publications, and affiliated conferences regarding Albright’s 23 men’s and women’s varsity sports; for the development and preparation of athletics programs, media guides, brochures and other publications; for the supervision of student statisticians; Web-site maintenance; and for other duties as assigned.
Candidates must have demonstrated writing, editorial, and personal communication skills, a working knowledge of the media and public relations, an understanding of publication layout and production, and an appreciation of the intercollegiate athletic program within the liberal arts college environment.
Experience with Sidearm, Statcrew, Adobe Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) preferred. Knowledge of Hy-Tek software and social media sites are a plus.
The position will work closely with Communications Division, Advancement and Enrollment Management. Computer literacy and a Bachelor’s degree in communication or related field required.
