THE JOB / Associate Creative Director (Copy, Content & Experiences)

We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director to join the Octagon team at our global HQ in sunny, seaside Stamford, Connecticut. While we believe creativity can come from any and all backgrounds, we’re hoping yours includes eyebrow-raising, laughter-inducing copy and concepts for sports, music and entertainment-themed brand campaigns, content and live experiences.
The ACD we’re looking for will join a creative team that approaches challenges from a channel agnostic perspective. We strive to generate smart and authentic ideas that rarely live in the world of traditional advertising, instead coming to life through brand-inspired physical and digital experiences.
THE WORK YOU’LL DO
• Concept and collaborate with experience designers, art directors, tech leads, producers and other experts across the agency
• Support agency’s creative development process by leading live brainstorm sessions and client workshops
• Develop junior creative talent, providing clear direction, feedback and pushing everyone around you to be better
• Lead the development and delivery of creative presentations
• Collaborate with strategic and creative global resources across the Octagon Sports and Entertainment Network

Qualifications
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
YOU:
• Have a pulse and it races irrationally for sports, entertainment, music, gaming, fashion, causes, travel, influencers and/or culture
• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5-7ish years of experience working, learning and growing at a creative, digital or experiential agency
• Are a wordsmith who can interpret insights and strategies to bring ideas to life through compelling and concise copy
• Don’t need a planner to be creative. You understand (and maybe even have dabbled in) the world of planning, contributing to and crafting creative briefs as the starting point of your process
• Make other people around you more creative – junior creatives, senior creatives, not-so creatives, etc.
• Have experience and prefer working across several clients, brands and categories, often simultaneously
• Love pitching ideas to existing and potential clients
