ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ATHLETICS HUMAN RESOURCES
Campus: Norman
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Salary Range: Negotiable

Description
Associate Director of Human Resources will manage all HR and payroll services, documentation, policies, and programs under the direction of the Assistant Athletics Director for Human Resources & Administrative Engagement. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Serve as main point of contact for Athletics Human Resources & Payroll Services; organize and schedule meetings, trainings, and other assemblies
• Manage human resource services, policies, and programs for department
• Work collaboratively with Assistant Athletics Director for Human Resources & Administrative Engagement to facilitate timely, accurate, and compliant submission and processing of university and department forms
• Assist with developing initiatives to continuously enhance the experiences of all Athletics Department student-athletes, staff members, coaches, and administrators
• Assist in establishing, evaluating, and accomplishing overall goals, objectives, and strategies related to desired OU Athletics culture
• Coordinate staff development initiatives and assemblies
• Build and maintain supportive and productive working relationships and partnerships with leaders and staff across the University
• Monitor and report fulfillment of contractual obligations related to onboarding/offboarding of contractual employees
• Assist in execution of projects, initiatives, and analyses in advancement of the Athletics Department strategic plan
• Manage Athletics Staff webpage with key information and updates regularly
• Contribute to fostering a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness throughout each level of the organization, including but not limited to, staffing and programming
• Maintain working knowledge of all related laws, policies, and guidelines
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree OR 48 months' experience in office management other related field

• Able and willing to work effectively with University HR and Payroll & Employee Services to meet the essential functions of this position
• Able to align with and further the Athletics Department mission and values
• Must be able to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations
• Able to effectively evaluate projects/programs and produce comprehensive reports
• Must be able to create and deliver effective training presentations
• Composition and proofreading skills
Advertised Physical Requirements
• Must be able to crouch, reach, bend, engage in repetitive motions and communicate verbally and in writing
Departmental Preferences:
• Master's Degree
• 24 months' experience in collegiate athletics department OR 24 months' experience in human resources, recruitment, or other internal, service-centered role
• Working knowledge of university, NCAA, and Big 12 rules and regulations
• Demonstrated success in operating autonomously while adhering to vision and mission of organization
