Texas Tech Athletics is seeking qualified applicants to serve in the Ticket Office as the Program Director - Director of Ticket Operations.
Performs administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and program. Performs varied and complex administrative duties requiring independent judgment and the application of established policies and procedures. May provide supervision and direction to clerical, paraprofessional or professional staff members.
Major/Essential Functions:
• Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ticket office
• Provide oversight and actively manage the front line ticket operations staff, including the full-time Ticket Services Coordinator and three (3) full-time Post-Grad Interns
• Manage all aspects of ticket operations for men's basketball, including actively managing inventory, allocating seats, and overseeing game day operation of events. In addition, provide assistance in other assigned sports, including assisting with football
• Identify areas for improvement in ticket operations processes, provide recommendations to the Associate Athletic Director, and provide support in the implementation of initiatives
• Actively collaborate with other members of the athletic department external units, including marketing, communications, and development to provide a high quality fan experience
• Manage and maintain the Ballena Seat Software, Complimentary Ticket System, and Phone System
• Assist in the oversight and maintenance of the Paciolan ticketing system database and Salesforce CRM
• Provide weekly sales reports for selected sports to the Associate AD for Ticket Services
• Assist in attaining defined revenue goals for each sport, as set forth by the Athletic Department
• Assist in the development and implementation of Ticket Office Policies and Procedures
• Provide a high level of customer service to fans and donors
• Comply with all NCAA, Big 12 and Texas Tech University rules, regulations and policies
• Other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Ticket Services

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Four years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's Degree
• A minimum of three years working in collegiate/professional athletics ticketing, with supervisory experience
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, self-motivated and detail oriented, with the ability to adapt in a quick changing work environment
• Knowledge of computerized ticketing, preferably Paciolan, CRM and donor systems
• Previous experience with financial reporting and list generation
